Can't find a more beautiful course- you see the whole city, waterfront, the bridge is magical, and the wave start helps runner flow immensely. This race is a must-do for any runner, it is worth the little challenge of the hills and has awesome weather in the summer. This is by far my favorite! |

This is my favorite marathon! The city is beautiful, you get to run over the golden gate, through Haight Ashbury, around Golden Gate Park, and through the financial district, Ghiradelli Square, Fisherman's Warf, and Pac-Bell Park. There is plenty to see. The scenary is top-notch and the crowd support is very good. Do it!!! |
