Disappointed, after hearing the reviews. I found the course lacking, the bands terrible, and the course was unimaginative & inaccessible at the end. |

This was my first marathon so it will always hold a special place in my heart. The weather was nice - overcast and humid. Great crowd support and nice expo. The bands were great along the course. Loved the water stations - one of the crews was dressed in pajamas and a big guy in a nightie. Another station had the parrothead with sand and fake palm trees. The Elvis' were great too - one passed me at mile 18 pushing a jog stroller and blaring Elvis music. |

While I liked this race, it just wasn't one that I was anxious to go do again. I thought it was a little hot and didn't like the course that much. The end was nicer, but overall, I just thought it was "OK". Considering the time of year and the fact that San Diego isn't too far away from where I am, I might give it another shot... |
