This is a really enjoyable marathon. I have ran it twice. The only thing is that it takes place in the northwest and can get quite dreary in October. |

There was a hill going up the bridge. You can see it from miles away. But once you finish it, the rest of the way isn't bad. The race is very well organized and well worth the trip. Nice sized race, not too big, not too small and there is good crowd support around the city. I think it should definitely be on everbody's list of races to run. |

The weather was great. It was overcast and cool. They say it doesn't usually rain on the day of the race and this was the second time I did it and each time the weather was perfect for running. There is one difficult hill running up to a bridge around mile 18, but other than that, it is a decent course for a PR. The crowd support is decent and the size of the race is nice. Overall, it is definitely worth doing again. |
